Summer Place-Based Learning Teaching Workshop Hosted by Dr. Christy Visaggi of The Georgia Geographic Alliance

Attention K-12 Teachers!  Dr. Christy Visaggi, Director of Education and Outreach for the Georgia Geographic Alliance and paleontologist at Georgia State University, is offering a four day workshop focused on exploring fossils across Georgia.  Lab and field activities are designed using Georgia Performance Standards as a guide with place-based education approaches.  Opportunities to earn Continuing Education credits exist if approved by your school district.  See the attachment here: Teacher Workshop in Paleontology
